Terms & Conditions - Holidays
1. A deposit of £100 and a correctly completed booking form secures your reservation subject to availability. £25 is required for touring site reservations. £100 for a seasonal pitch reservation is required.
2. Holiday Cancellation insurance is mandatory details of which can be received on request. Credit note only, no refunds.
3. Final instalment must be received 3 weeks prior to the start of your holiday or the said holiday is deemed to be cancelled. Deposits are non refundable.
4. Bookings are from 4.00 pm on the afternoon of arrival to 10.00 am on the morning of departure unless otherwise agreed in writing. Short Stay Tourers may arrive after 10.00 am and must depart before 5.00 pm on the day of departure.
5. Occupation is restricted to family groups, single sex parties are at the management's discretion. Only the persons named on the booking form may use the accommodation and this must not exceed the number of berths provided.
6. Payments may be made by Visa Debit Card or Cheque/Postal order made out to Carlton Meres Country Park. Cheques must be received 21 days prior to booking or covered by a banker's card.
7. A deposit or card details may be requested on arrival and all shortages or damage will be the responsibility of the holiday makers on departure.
8. Accommodation must be kept in a clean and tidy condition and left in such a condition on departure.
9. Open fires are not permitted on the park and only properly constructed barbecue units may be used.
10. No firearms, air rifles or explosives, including fireworks, may be used on the park or kept in the accommodation.
11. Musical instruments, radios etc must not be used excessively between 11.00 pm and 8.00 am.
12. Dogs are welcome on our parks but must be kept on a lead and exercised off the park. Please be considerate to non-pet owners. Pets must not be allowed to lie on the bedding or seats. Pets are not allowed in any park buildings (unless guide dogs).
13. Speed limit is 5mph. Any vehicle used on the park but be licensed, MOTd, insured and driven by a licensed owner.
14. Any person found vandalising or deliberately damaging company property will be liable to prosecution and removal from the park.
15. Carlton Meres and its staff will not be liable for any loss, damage or theft, injury, accident mishap to any person or party however caused unless Green Parcs or its employees have contributed to it by negligence.
16. Rents are accepted and customers remain on the park only as long as they abide by the park rules and conditions and any posted notice. Any persons not doing so will be removed from the park at the management's sole discretion.
17. No persons under the age of 18 will be permitted to purchase or consume alcoholic liquor in the licensed premises. This will be enforced.
Admission to the bar is at the sole discretion of the management.
18. Children under the age of 16 years should not be left unattended at any time in the accommodation for their own safety.
19. The above conditions are meant to protect the average holidaymaker against any unreasonable person. Please consider your neighbours especially when leaving or returning to your holiday home.
20. Whilst we will make every effort to supply the accommodation requested we reserve the right to supply a similar unit from the same grade without prior notification.
21. Caravans towed or accompanied by commercial type vehicles may be excluded from the Park. Please check with the management.
22. Important Notice: The services on the park are in accordance with demand and time of year but will always be available 7 days a week in the high season.
