Carlton Meres Country Park - Fishing Lakes
The two lakes boast acres of water catering for all types of fishing from Carp through to Tench, Rudd and Bream. There are many different swims located around the lakes to allow the fishermen peace, quiet and of course, space. For those of you keen Carpers out there, we recommend you try our well stocked lake, with carp weighing over 30lbs.
Here at Carlton Meres, we hold in-house fishing tournaments for anyone who wants to enter.
With numerous rivers, ponds, lakes and gravel pits, fishing in Suffolk, East Anglia provides a variety of great locations for a perfect days fishing. Most day tickets are reasonably priced and some locations allow night-fishing as well. Whether you are after coarse, game or predator fishing, Suffolk has something to offer all anglers.
